Cuteness Overload !
:3 Es wird immer süßer und süßer. Sehr tolle Idee mit den Wolken. Ich find den Drachen von oben bis unten sowas von niedlich... sogar die gefährlichen Reißzähne ! Ist dir sehr gut gelungen.

These are Darling Ginkgo. Who ever gets these they're lucky kids. Are these fixtures that go over lights on the wall or are they night light kind of things?

There is a light chain with batteries attached to the inside, so that way you can hang it up wherever you want to

Oh wow that's so cool Ginkgo. Do you have any plans to make anymore like that?
Hey, I saw you got featured on this week's site update. I know that's probably common for you being that you're such a big part of the CSS community here and all But congrats on that anyways. It was so cool seeing someone I follow and talk to up in the site update blog.

Thanks! So far i only made them by request for my mother or as christmas decoration because i wanted to give it a try. But yes, i like working on these, so i am sure there will be more in the future!
Haha no, it's not really common that i get featured. A few years back yes, but these days it happens only sometimes. When i came online today, i was already wondering why i have so many favs etc until i saw that article

NICE! You must be one of those people who's good at everything you try cause damn these are really nice pieces for something you've only done a couple times.
Ahhh you're being modest. I can tell you're a big deal around here. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me and reply to comments even though you probably get a zillion of em.

Naw, even though people say that all the time it's not true. There are a lot of things that i can't do, but once something catches my interest and really motivates me, then i am all eager and patient to make it good
It feels weird that you thank me for that. I mean if people take the time, to leave comments at my artworks, then i should be the one who is thankful and also take the time to reply!

Its so cool that you can do that. I'd like to get into digital art and wrap my head around this CSS stuff as well as explore other artistic avenues but I just don't know where to start. Not to mention that I don't have the greatest computer for the digital art stuff. I'd like to get a good beefy desktop, get photoshop and a drawing tablet and just try and figure stuff out. Talk to people who know what the heck they're doing and see what I can pick up. I use :iconpaintdontnetplz: to do the photo collages for my MOCs. 3rdeye88.deviantart.com/galler… I've gotten pretty proficient at doing those. So I think I could learn how to do other artistic stuff. The one thing that concerns me though is I have like no skill with a pen. My handwriting SUCKS! >.<
I'm like you though when I'm motivated I'm eager and patient. I learned how to play bass and drums, and learning an instrument isn't easy.
Very true, but its not like we expect you to. When you get so many messages I think its understandable how you could not get to em all. I don't always get to all the messages people leave me and I've got a fraction of the Watchers you do.

Have you tried to download Gimp? It's for free and is very close to Photoshop. Maybe that will give you already a good start?
As for CSS, well it's not that difficult to get started. Create a simple design and get going. There are plenty resources that will help you and i am around as well, to answer questions and such. From my own experience i know that the best is always to just start NOW. Don't worry about the right tools or knowledge yet. That will come after a while.
When i did my first plywood piece i had no idea what i was doing and with each piece i do i learn more and get more confident with what i do.
Handwriting and painting/drawing are different things. It might takes a few days to get used to a pen, but it's a really nice tool - still not essential for being creative
Haha... honestly, i do not get many comments. People grab free stuff and run. That is all. There might be an average of 10 comments a day.

I have. I didn't care for it. I use :iconpaintdonnetplz: Which I felt was a closer version and its open sourced so there's a lot of plugin support that gives a lot of extra features to it, all free.
I've tried to learn this CSS stuff through tutorials and resources. It doesn't stick. I think certain things like this I learn best when someone shows me what to do instead of being told what to do. I found this to be most apparent when I took a computer class back when I was still going to college(I dropped out due to financial reasons). Anytime we had to work from our text book, I never quite understood what was going on when I'd do something and for some reason it wouldn't give me the result I wanted. But then the next day i'd come in and talk to the teacher, and she'd help me and I'd get it, it'd just click so much easier. And that's the frustrating part with CSS, its like "well it told me to do this, and I did, so why doesn't mine look like that?" And I know you guys are very supportive but without that real time assistance its all just very frustrating and I end up putting it down.
Well if I wanna create 2D art I think it might be. I don't see how else I'm gonna get around using programs to create digital art. I've tried using my mouse waaay too sloppy. Plus I think a drawing tablet is a nice thing to have just in case you need it. "Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it, just like guns and condoms."~unknown I used to think Drawing tablets were way expensive, like the cheapest one would be $100 but I learned that's not the case, especially during the holidays. I'm kinda in a state of needing a tech overhaul. I first wanna upgrade my computer to a desk top, then get a new camera, drawing tablet and then just a regular tablet for derping around in the living room or to use as a glorified ereader and Ipod.
I don't read many books because my eyesight is bad. Online I can zoom in pages and its lit, books don't have that, so it puts a strain on my eyes I don't wanna risk. So I want a tablet PC for that reason. Maybe then I won't be such an unread hick.
Oh wow. That's about what I get. Welp I'm glad I get to talk to you, you're a great responder and carry conversations well. I'm glad you're not busy so I get to chat with you.
I have a few good people I chat with regularly, my DA pals as I consider them. ~Dark-Aberration is my best buddy. We've always got like 5 comment threads and a note or two goin back and forth. and ~Gale-OneOfMany is totally
That's one of the things I try to convey to lego enthusiasts around the net about why DA is the best place to host their MOCs, the response is exponentially better and there's a real sense of community here. My lame work often times gets more faves and higher stats than some of the "top notch" work. I always laugh. "This amazing piece only has 60 faves? I get that from like a crappy MOC
" Whether I get 100 comments or only 10, I love posting my work here on DA most of any site.
Sorry about the Hope you don't mind long responses.

Woah
That's really a text wall lol
Ah ok, never really worked with that. I have used Photoshop since ever and just played around Gimp for a few times when i needed to teach that someone.
Yeah, i do understand that. I have been the same, but i found out, that if you just get started it will work out after a while. Of course you will struggle first, because it is difficult to learn this way (if you prefer the other), but once you understand tiny bits of what is going on, it all makes more sense. Sometimes
When they have been all new and such, they have been expensive, but you can always start with no-name brands or trying to get a better one at a sale. In the end it will always be the user not the tablet who creates the art though. The more expensive ones usually just make sense when you really use it a lot of make specific things with it.
But sounds like you already have a plan. Sooner or later i will get myself a tablet as well. It's more handy than a laptop - which i never use lol
I always respond whenever it is possible and whenever i feel like it. Of course sometimes it takes a bit longer or i need to think about what to write and what not, but yeah.... i think it is always nice to get answers back, right?
Haha, i stopped to wonder of how much attention a new artwork will get. The ones i am proud of usually get dusty real quick and the lame ones - as you say - often get way more feedback and praise. I think that happens to all of us

Das ist abhängig davon was es sein soll, wie das Budget ist usw. Am besten einfach mal ne Note schreiben, wenn du konkrete Ideen hast
