it's feeding time! ok, so this is a tangle tree in the process of consuming a very stupid and ignorant mundane. a tangle tree is the most dangerous carnivorous plant in Xanth, a magical land shaped like florida. mundanes are all of us non-xanthians, since we are very boring.all of this comes from Pierce Anthony's 25+ xanth books. yay xanth!

you thought they would gently pick you up and carry you towards their mouth? stupid mundane (jk)! actually, i spaced when i drew this and this is what it reminded me of. xanth is so underrepresented on da, i'll have to change that eventually, once i get better and have more time.
