I like to think the Empire would be a fusion of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.
The Rebels, meanwhile, would be a combination of the four Allied powers: Britain (and the Commonwealth), the USA, the USSR and Nationalist China. Which would be interesting to see.

yes the sword is something out of imagination..the cross guard is european inspired, while the blade looks like from a katana

It could be that the helmet is a bit too big, but.. It`s just a matter of personal visualizacion, for me it would look better if the Β legs were a bit longer, I`m not saying its incorrect what you`ve done especially since you checked proportions. Don`t mind me, fantastic work.

Its partly the helmet, coat, and angle. The coat and angle make it hard to see his exactly where his crotch is which helps to determine leg length. Also the helmet is properly proportioned to fit around his head which ends up making it look bigger than it should.
