In 2022, the times where Russia is recovering from economic crisis, the military proposed of a new regulation of uniforms. The Uniform set is designated VSR-22(Vooruzhenie Sily 2022). The regulation affected all of the military uniforms, gradually replacing the existing uniforms.

Service Uniforms mostly reverted to the more militaristic 1994 regulation, with changes of fabric colors. the Office uniform's jacket, which was a part of the standardized uniform of 2013, eventually also reverted to be Demiseason jacket, just like the 1994 regulation.
