Description TTsKO, is a Soviet Field Uniform, a Variant of the Afganka, trying to match the American M81 BDU. This uniform was made in late 1970s especially for Soviet Airborne troops (VDV) and Naval Infantry (Morskaya Pekhota), although in latter years, Motostrelki/Motorized Infantry began using it too, almost becoming an Universal field uniform. Early TTsKO has sewn shoulder boards, while latter ones had applied with button-up shoulder boards, just like illustrated above. Even after the breakup of Soviet Union, TTsKO was still seen usage in post Soviet states, until 2000s, where they have adopted their very own uniforms.

TTsKO has two types based on climates: Summer and Winter.

Standard summer has 4-torso pockets and a seen fastener on the spine, good for adjusting the uniform(say it like you're a 160s cm but you have to wear a 170s cm uniform). What makes it different than US M81 are: It still retains the shoulder rank boards, and addition of cargo pockets on the arm. Tucked summer is a variation of the TTsKO that removes the fastener and pair of lower torso pockets. This cut is mainly used by the Airborne Troops.

Winter shares the similar characteristics as standard summer, only it has a fur winter collar. Usually paired by an Ushanka to provide best protection against cold temperatures.

Please note that this is not a 100% accurate depiction, so misrepresents could be present.
