Alternate universe lore: Due to emerging armed conflicts in Southern Russia at the early stage of Caucasian war,one of it was US Air Force's air superiority.Russia seeks to add another combat capable fighter to assist their fighter brigades assigned to the Southern territory,which was poorly tech Flankers and Fulcrums.Sukhoi JSC decided to came up with a weird idea,that is to revive the Su-27M.A new generation of Su-37 eventually is born.The variant built during the war was Su-37BM/Su-37S,which is a Su-37 with systems of Su-35S.It didnt perform really good at BVR but its enough to cover the Southern region from US Fighter jet threats.
