This is my first drawing assignment for drawing 101! This is my first time using conte crayon, and I actually really like them. It's suppose to be monochromatic, but I think I botched that up. The background is suppose to be of an interior place. Any suggestions for that? I want it to be interesting

It has to be detailed and and drawn from observation. Drawingat the hello kitty store would be awesome though

Well you could have Narwhal in the background with an incorrect obi... or maybe like a gazebo in the background? I dunno, nature scenery would be cool, but cold and difficult to do.
As for a critique, I like it a lot, but some of the high contrasting spots where it's white makes the cheeks a little too rounded, but that's all... it's really good!

Yeah, I'll figure some jazz out. The whole face just seems offish, I'm gunna tamper some more with the cheeks. Thanks!
