Paint/Photo/Conversion: Girot (me)
Models:
Eggs: two sets of Alien Birthing Pods by Dark Art Miniatures
Facehugger: the beasty up front is a left over from a set of Head Crabs by Hasslefree Miniatures . ATM these are getting a mold rework and are not available.
Bases: Generic 30mm "round lipped" plastic bases.
Conversion:
To minimize their "footprint" (how much horizontal space they take up on a game board) I clipped off everything around the eggs after washing them. Next I glued them into beveled 30mm round bases. Finally I used green stuff to sculpt a bunch of "hive resin" to secure them into their bases and to help tie them into their environment and setting.
