personally, i like your work with lines, opposed to lineless. the reason for that is your line-less art is well.... too lineless. maybe it'll be better if you outlined everything in a darker hue of the base colour.
secondly.... use reference pictures that AREN'T anime/manga. when you colour in/draw people's faces, find a stock photo to guide you. stocks are really easy to find, and they're a huge help when colouring
also, another thing that's huge help with colouring and just overall establishing your style, emulate artists you really like. i don't mean completely copy their style, but look at their style, break it down, figure out key components in their style, and draft certain aspects into your own style. obviously, find a lot of artists and combine their respective styles together with your own style, and develop it from there. sometimes, it's not a bad thing to step on the shoulders of giants to improve yourself... as long as you're not straight out copying them and putting none of your own originality into your work.
i'm starting to do all those things (the lined colouring, reference pictures, etc) and i'm finding that my work is improving a lot. hopefully this will help you. your work at the moment is really nice, but it's still obviously developing. like me, and everyone else, there are a few things you could improve on, but you have shitloads and shitloads of potential, so i believe in you. good luck!

Ahah the thing is I actually do the whole copycat thing you just explained..ahaha right now its a mix of lineless and linework, and I've yet to get there.
I'll tell you what I really need to work on is staying on the same thing longer than I usually do. And to make things more smoother.
I myself do not use references as a base of the drawing, I use memory.

oh, one more thing, familarise yourself with anatomy!! especially muscle reliefs and the like, it'll make your art look a lot more realistic and vibrant

Ahah yes yes, one of the major things to work on , composition/anatomy/dynamics/colours/pose
with this one I was working on a simplified version of what i usually do, stay tune for my next one, I've used this technique along with a hot/cold technique and my usual style =]
