This is one of my latest passions: koi fish! I wanted to tattoo one of this so bad!!!!!!! But I'm tinny little girl, so it's not going to be good.... T.TThis is a painting I did for Shogun House, a japanease restaurant here in Campinas City. I wanted to thank the owner for his big help at the exhibition Nagai Tabi (Long Journey) that my art school promoted this month. It was about the centenary of japanease imigration to Brazil, the festivities are going on until the end of this year. Very cool indeed!

What would you call this style? I have a painting from a local artist of a bird painted in this tradition Japanese style, I guess you'd call it. Is there a more specific name, do you know?

Oh, this is lovely. I like the way the koi going 'off-page' gives the impression of movement and a world outside what we can see with them. Also, I love the style you rendered them in.

actually I own an art school, here in my town. It's called Anima Academy of Art. You can visit owr website, but I'm afraid it's all portuguese, trully sorry!
