Description I DID THIS PIECE A WHILE AGO but never finished it. Now it's done. It is done out of respect to victims, history, and remembrance day. Thank you-!

“We had known. The world had vaguely heard. But until now no one of us had looked on this. Even this morning we had not imagined we would look on this.” – Meyer Levin

For the million of victims around the world who have suffered injustices beyond human comprehension. The cruelty, inhumane, subjugation, and evil of some men can never be underestimated or ignored.

This was done in honor of Holocaust Remembrance day. Though many associate the Holocaust with the Jews who were it’s largest victims many others suffered the same incomprehensible cruelty. The first victims of this systematic genocide were the German population deemed handicap, disabled or mentally ill. Other victims included: Gyspies such as the Roma and Sinti, Prisoners of war, political foes, homosexuals, objectors to the Nazi Regime, many of the undesirables or untermeschen (subhumans) as categorized by the racist regime.

The mass murder of millions. The destruction of whole families and whole towns never to be seen again. The destruction of countless lives full of potential and dreams.
The holocaust is only a glimpse of human suffering and cruelty. Many crimes against humanity whether publicized or not have occurred and continue to this very day in which we live in. The genocides of the Armenians, murder of thousands of Haitians under Trujillo, The mass killings of Cambodians under Pol pot, killings in Kosovo, the middle East, In Africa, in the world around us. Crimes committed under the ambiguous guises of religion, ‘race’, culture, any excuse necessary to fulfill horrid means.
People have suffered things we cannot imagine possible, but are very real.

Remembering and honoring is only on part of our responsibilities as humans and as people. Education and understanding are powerful, unbreakable tools to send a dire message: Abominations as these must not be allowed to happen. They can and are happening to anyone, anywhere. Silence and ignorance are not options. Never Tolerate what you know is wrong and never be scared of doing what is right.

Doing nothing is a crime in itself.
