i started reading Everything is Illuminated this week- im about 100 pages in - this book is a mother fucking masterpiece. i saw the movie quite a few years ago.so i am loving the transistions from the story to present day to old Tranchimbrod, and i drew a few characters from Johnathan Safran Foer's view of the history of trachimbrod as apposed to him, Alex, his grandad, and Sammi Davis Junior, Junior. (i love Alex Petrov, im getting quite the crush on him <3 )
anyway, i drew the Well Regarded Rabbi and his daughters when they found that wagon in the river, and i was haunted by how him and his daughters were described, as under his scarf, peeking out like ghosts. then i drew Yankel and Brod, who i love dearly.

Yeah, for some reason I saw the movie poster and just knew for some reason that it would be a great film, and it was, so I am reading the book, which I am also finding very good.

They do look ghostly under that scarf, don't they? Nice work on capturing expressions.
