Description
she is a logical beingreasoning everything
even down to feeling
at every sight of him
her heart stops for a beat or two
and she thinks
"this unbearable feeling of sadness,
it can only be love"
***
on-off drawing for a month since i have some hesitation using my moleskin. drawn with BIC pen, ... dunno if i will do the digital version or not since i'm quite satisfied with the traditional version.

sorry for the late reply, but reading this really makes me happy! i'm in the state of self-doubt recently that made me fall down into an uncreative phase.
i find your photography interesting ^^ i have zero talent for taking pictures, that's why i try to draw better.

aaw, well I'm glad i could make you happy for a bit!
it's true what I said
get yourself some inspiration and keep on drawing!
ohhh thanks for saying that, that means alot
i hope you didnt feel the need to say that , but that's cool.
i used to draw quite a bit, but nothing was ever really worthy to put on devart. people like you make me want to draw again!!

i really do mean it! i think you take good pictures! i tried photography before and find my photos boring & lifeless, that's why i go back to drawing.
my drawing was average before, until i read "drawing from the right side of the brain" by betty edwards or something like that (not so sure if i remember it correctly). it made me see things differently and really improved my drawing skill. ... even though i still need to learn a lot from everyone in DA!

naww, well thankyou! that really does mean alot that you think that
ooh cool! sounds interesting. Yeah, i've read a few books that have helped me with drawing too,
I should really get back into it *thumbs up*
i think my problem is I tend to look for 'inspiration' and end up just copying someone else's idea
it's really difficult to be original *sigh*

hee, i use references for my drawings (plural, because usually there's 2-3 different picture being put together) ... usually from magazines, or from DA stock photos. does that mean i'm copying?
... as long as you can come up with your own way of interpreting my idea (... actually flower in the eye thing is idea ... i just tried to come up with my own way of drawing that) i don't mind.
to be original these day is really difficult since everything has been done. i think what's important is to develop a style that is truly yours so that when ppl look at your drawing, they know it's yours even though you copy someone else's idea.
look forward to see your drawing ^^

I love the traditional sketch you have here, so a digital version isn't necessary, but it might be interesting o see both C: I like the abstract designs you do, and this one really shows it off. Very nice :~DDD

i like paisleys ^^ um, i think the abstract design really convey the feeling of 'daydreaming' which is pretty much what my girls (i like to call my drawings 'my girls' are doing most of the time.
but the paisley design doesn't really translate well in digital form, it loses the personal touch i get from drawing with pen. so i didn't do the digital drawing. thanks for the encouragement though!

thank you for your kind comment. i don't really understand what you mean by theme, but i'll try to answer. if i misunderstood your question, please let me know.
the theme of the drawing is obsessive compulsiveness. not by the girl, but by me. as i have obsession over patterns/paisleys and i like to decorate drawings with them XD

oh, cool
yes that WAS what i meant
and i really love all these patterns and stuff that you do, i always want to do them on my drawings but i just end up getting lazy
and i love the fact that this is done in just ballpoint pen, one of my favorite tools

actually, i too get lazy in making the patterns, which is why this drawing was finished after 1 month. i probably spent just few minutes every week to do a little bit of the drawing. BIC pen is definitely the best for sketching and shading.

i was a bit worried that the final result would look heavy on one side, glad you found it to be balanced.
