P.S. did you use anything to seal the gold ink? Last time I used these sorts of pens on a book cover they quickly started to degrade but it was years ago... Just wondering if you find the same problem or if you've found a solution? ^_^ xx

You used that little gold gel pen to cover that whole cover!? Insane!!! Buy a bottle of ink Again, love the flow between front and back covers

Haha, I think I like my glitter pen too much. Actually I did the same thing for the notebook "fish in her hair". And if you count the notebook "circles" I tried to nearly cover everything with souffle pens. Which is probably why I work so slow XD.
I tried golden ink, but the color doesn't come as I imagine it. Whereas the gold gel pen does ... therefore, I'm getting tendonitis XD

Ahh don't joke about that! I have tendinitis right now in my right wrist from playing clarinet too much. I have to go to therapy and stuff.. ;__; Be careful!!! If you even feel a bit tired in your hand stop and stretch your fingers and wrist a bit and take a break XD
Oh I guess you can use a pen to cover a whole area with neat patterns... That's its advantage over ink bottles~!

Actually I already got trigger finger since April, but I think the tendinitis & the trigger finger might be there from my work (I'm a physiotherapist ... kind of ironic >_<. I did dry needling to myself & lots of deep tissue massage (by myself >_<; ... I feel like a masochist) and it's better now. But like what you said, I stop when I feel tired & do my stretching constantly.
I probably still go with pen rather than brush. Don't know why, I can't control brush well.

I'm still trying to get the hang of using my brush x_x
Ugh these wrist/hand pains... It's so horrible! We use our hands so much D: I hope things get better with you. I'm still figuring mine out. Typing gets hard sometimes...

I shaded the girl's skin with white color pencil (just lightly) and added red/pink/orange hue to the cheeks & lips (color pencils again).

Thank you so much, I think I'm still struggling to find a style that really belongs to me. So far, I feel like I'm still borrowing someone else's style >_<;

The original color of the moleskine cover is the color of the girl's hair & the heart flowers inner side. The rest is colored with gold ink. Glad you like it ^^
