Pencil, eraser smudges, tweaked with scanner so that it doesn't look like crud.

I drew this for my godfather, who's been going above and beyond to help with my schooling. Thank you so much for all your support, Jerome!

I promised that I'd send him a letter (something more personal than e-mail ), but I was rather late writing it, so I wanted to do something extra for him. I drew this because I thought the idea was rather cute, and I liked the image of a cat standing on its hind legs to reach for a light. (The light symbolizes God and/or spiritual growth, and the cat stands for humanity in general.)

There's really no reason for it to be a cat...however, I saw a rather cute Naruto-themed picture of Sasuke and Naruto as kittens, with a rather chubby (but still unbelievably cute) Sasuke. So I felt like drawing a chubby kitten.

Cat Light is dedicated to my godfather, Jerome.

EDIT: I changed the cat's head and the shadowing a little bit, so the mouth is more like a cat's mouth, the jaw line is a bit better, and the left foreleg's shadow is more pronounced. ^^ The new version will be put into scraps for anyone who wants to take a look. Enjoy, all!
