Description
Here is a drepressed-looking ram anthro I'm calling Mandello. ALL IN TRADITIONAL MEDIA!!!He is terribly depressed and leaning against a wall because he's not terribly excited about being partially ram. It depresses him so because he likes cowboyhats, but can't wear them. Therefore he wastes away, in pseudo-depression because he's a selfish brat.
My black feels too potent, and I suck at blending, but I think it's fairly impressive for my first honest try. (I've used colored pencil before, but I'd usually cram down the pencil to force-blend... I think I'll put up an example!)
Pencil > Micron Pen > Collored pencil.

one most important thing in making a successful colorpencil drawing is the blending of colors. you need more than just one color for each shading. for example, you could have used different shades of brown to make the body of the figure. you also could have used some cool tones such as blue or green for the shadows. keep experimenting with color pencils. i think you'll enjoy it very much ones you get the hang of it.
