That's not how it worked on one of my other art sites.
On the other site the snipe guard basically protects the last highest bid for the last hour until the bid would end, unless someone came in and offered the auto buy price..
So My bid of 12 $ would have been protected until it hit the 24 hour mark unless someone came in and offered auto buy for it.

Actually in this batch sipe guard not needed because it is '1 day after the last bid', so it is already like 1 day snipe guard (every next bid extends the auction). So I remove words about 1 hour.
I am sorry too, I did not know how it works on other sites, but here I am always see only this variant.
