That being said, I can see a small flaw in it, based on scanning in the model kit:

There's a small difference between the miniature maquette and the finished product- it actually has the subnarial gap from the real animal. Also the tongue is slightly different.
I love your work and just want to see it the best it can be! I have some more nice clean pics of the Dilophosaurus full-sized maquette and animatronic if you'd like- just want to help!

How do you make the model? Do you hand sculpt it or use a model to make it? I'm trying to make my own dinosaurs using Blender and its proving to be very difficult without proper anatomy. Any tips?

What do you mean by "scan data"? The mudbox model looks great, but where did your base mesh come from?

By scan data, he mean it's a result 3D data output by a physic device. That said the given device scan a real dino model (usually by laser) and output 3D data for further using in 3D graphic computer applications. In case, CG app is Mudbox for detailing.

this was the scariest fucking dino in JP xD i was a little kid when i saw this movie and that scene of the fat guy being so helpless freaked me out.
