Description
Here is a screenshot of the dragon in film Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The dragon is really a boy named Eustace who was transformed into a dragon by stealing dragon hoard. Apparently there is a curse on dragon hoard in Narnia.

hrm... as I recall, this was based on an ancient myth; where you would be turned into a dragon if you stole from its hoard.... Though the movie did miss out on the part of that myth that says when you were turned into the dragon, you would be forced to guard the dragon's hoard for eternity.

Yes, the point of Eustace in being a dragon make him a better person.
Just for the kicks, we would rather see him remain as a dragon infinitely.

plenty of legends about that, and yes some dragons put tf spells on their hoards, we do it as there are some humans who realy do want to be dragons out there, and for how he was just talking not working before that like some useless noisy animal he got cursed with his speech being taken away, ask Aslan about it. *flies off*
