After seeing the trailer, I can see why people are hating Sony. If Beatrix Potter rose from the dead and saw this, she would be fighting to get Peter Rabbit out of public domain.

The teaser doesn't shed a lot of light on what the movie is about. Considering Peter Rabbit is now within public domain, the screenwriters are able to create their own version from the book.

This character's name is unknown.My guess would be that's Mr. Tod. He's a stereotypical bad guy fox character that's on par with Br'er Fox, Foxy Loxy, and Honest John, and the only fox that's a part ofΒ Beatrix Potter's books.
