2005? duży rozmiar/large sizekolejny batik, tym razem biały królik z "Przygód Alicji w Krainie Czarów"

bo ja wiem czy to tak dużo cierpliwości potrzeba? wosk zasycha dość szybko. a w każdym razie jak siedzi się w miłym towarzystwie w pracowni to czas mija szybko

I like it, not only because I have a soft spot for anything "Alive in Wonderland", but because batik is a beautiful and uncommon art-form, it make this piece so much better (it gives it a beautiful look, I just love it!)

dyed with batik technique - drawn outline on material, put wax (first i had to warm it so it melts) on the parts i wanted to stay white, dyed whole material yellow (the waxed parts wouldn't dye), put wax on the parts i wanted to stay yellow and so on. lastly i ironed it on a bunch of newspapres so the wax would come off
