This is a photo I took while I was on Spring Break in Washington, D.C. It's a beautiful shot of the Washington Monument with a sunset behind it.
I took this on our last night in D.C. In my opinion, there was no better way to end our trip than to take some beautiful pictures. I took a total of about 10 "night" shots of the monuments and Capitol, but only 2 turned out well
This is one of those 2 shots....
Edited using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. All that was done to this photo was some minor saturation and color adjustments, noise reduction, and the border.

by the way, the original size is only 1536×2048, i dont think thats 42"
and i only have a 17" screen, but i wanted to let people see the full size just so they can see the full details (and in case somone DID have a 42" screen
