Here's another pic taken shortly before I went under. Uncovered this little guy while looking for beetles to get some shots of. I had been wondering why No beetles were around until I overturned an old car tire to find this little guy. He(?) sat there patiently while I got a few photos before moving over slightly so I could set the tire back down without squishing him.Related content

That it is! This one's a little survivor too, it had to make it past being a little blue tailed racer near a neighborhood full of cats.
