Actually the Valeyard was mentioned in the old series and was the main antagonist of Trail of a Time Lord. I haven't watched myself but I've read about it on Wikipedia.

Hey STOP making Discord Whooves as MR.HYDE.He is not evil,he is just nervous but not EVIL.Why you kids can't understand what's the evil character and the good character.Children of today, knows evil characters as good characters like:The Master from Discord Whooves,Evil Queen,Maleficent, Rattigan etc. I am not like you kids! I am good not evil like you KIDS!

Discorded Whooves is the second personality of Dr Whooves who haunts him. There are similarities.
"Evil" depends on the point of perspective. Being ruthless and self-centered, as Discorded Whooves is, may count as evil.
And just take a look at other discorded ponies like the Mane6 in the series. They all portrayed the opposite of their elements, which appears to be evil as well (lying or being mean for example).
The opposite of Dr Whooves would be just as evil.
Even though I admit that he might have his good moments, because he switches a lot faster between being normal and being discorded.
Still, there's no doubt that there are characters more evil than him, as, of course, for example his Master.Β

Girl, you don't know who is Discord Whooves. He is just a friendly pony who has 5 friends, for example:Ananta,Jack Harnes,The Zebra,Zecora and Twilight Sparkle. Look a little bit in Master's character, he is very very vvvvvvvVVVEEERRRYYYyyyy cruel and bloody and don't forget he is evil, for example:He stabbed Twilight Sparkle in her own bed, and don't forget the part with Master who tortured Discord Whooves.
If he has 5 friends is a good example, who explains how good is he, but the Master's lonely explains the cruel the bloody character in him and especially the evil.Discord Whooves is a good example for a good boy who is a little bit nervous, but nervous is not an evil fact,like my grand father, he is just nervous but good.

I know the story from musical and I am trying to read it in original English as a book

My first language is german. I read the book a few years ago (in English as well), it was pretty cool, but somehow not what I was expecting. I think I'll read it again sometime.

Yeah this is something new for as well. I usually read books like Lord of the Rings or Eragon... It's actually first book about 19th century... I can't say it's perfect but still I am enjoying the book
