Woah, Spades! What's the rush?I'm running late for an appointment on the other side of town! Can't stop to chat-- H-hey!
The quickest way through town is to go up and over everything! And since you aren't a pegasus, I'll give you a lift!

Spades galloped by Icicle Gleam, clearly in a huge hurry. Icicle, curious as to what has his friend in such a rush, flew after him. Upon catching up to him, they had the conversation above. Icicle was heading in the same direction, so he grabbed Spades and proceeded to airlift him to his destination. Needless to say, Spades was a little surprised when he got pulled off of the ground like that.
Just a piece I did for fun, and to give myself a little more practice drawing male head shapes. I'm not particularly satisfied with how the shading came out on this one, but I'm also not really bothered by it, either.
Not much to say about this piece, really.

It all depends on how strong their wings are!
If Rainbow Dash can carry Rarity and three of the Wonderbolts at once, I'm sure she could carry almost every brony, if she wanted to.

I know Twilight Sparkle was able to carry the multiton Tom on her back in the season 2 premier, but it looked to put a lot of strain on her.
That's the last thing I'd want to do to them, if I have to ride one of them.

Rainbow Dash did it during 'Sonic Rainboom', after Rarity had knocked out the three Wonderbolts trying to rescue her. Dash was able to grab Rarity and all three Wonderbolts before they hit the ground, and was able to take them back to the stadium without much of a problem.

As for what he's hanging on to... Originally, I was going to have him holding onto Spades' arms like this, but I couldn't get it to look right
I decided to just have him grab Spades by the scruff of his neck instead, and readjust his grip while flying.

Bwaaaghahaha this is fantastic! I love how Icicle Gleam has picked up on the sense of urgency - his expression is priceless! Spades looks none too pleased either - he's a little nervous of being in the air for some reason. ([link] )

Hahah, yeah, I kind of figured Spades would have a bit of a dislike for heights after that incident in your comic. It was partly the basis for his reaction in the flavor text!
