I thought The Fury had the saddest story besides The Boss. He became my favorite Cobra in Snake Eater only to be surpassed by The Boss of course. The Fury could quite easily be the most dangerous battle in the entire game - lucky for use, we had corridors to run away from instead of a wide open area !

Well, I actually kinda thought the Fury was the least coolest. But he did put up one hell of a fight. So he gets some kudos for that.
Plus he has that awesome space suit that reminds me of the Firebats from Starcraft
