Description
BumbleBee from Transformers: Animated.BB: You can't post me here yet! I'm still all fuzzy!
Camel: Sorry Bee, I'm tired of working on you. Maybe some nice person will adopt you and finish you properly.
BB: D: But you didn't prick yourself once while making me! Love me!
I'm a bad person. Bee is cute, but I don't adore him like I do Optimus and Starscream.
He is just about 5 inches tall and made of wool and wire and took me about half the time it took to make Prime and Screamer.

They are easy to make! Needle felting is very time consuming, but very fun and very relaxing! You should give it a try!

I have seen needle felting kits sold in Ben Franklin's Crafts, but not anywhere else. If you have a local yarn shop, you could try giving them a call.
Your best bet will be the internet, I order all my supplies online. You can get beginner's kits on Etsy . I know fellow Deviant ~amber-rose-creations used to sell a great kit with very well-written instructions, you might want to ask her if she's still selling them.
For my Transformers, I use Merino wool that I usually buy from The Yarn Tree or hand-dyed yarns from Etsy.
You'll have tons of fun, and be sure to let me know if you have any questions!!

How did you do those fingers? They're so tiny!

I taught myself how to do fingers one day, I'm sure there are better techniques out there, but it works for me: Simply take a pinch of wool (I just got used to exactly how much I need). fold it in half, give it a little twist so it is not flying everywhere and poke at the fold a couple of times so it stays, that is the fingertip. Then you just poke and turn till you get to the end. *shrug* simple.
though I don't describe my process nearly as well as you do!

Oh, very simple. I'll have to remember that when I do dragon claws and the like. Thanks!
