Description
The Merchants Guild's top blacksmith has finally arrived at Stars Reach in order to help them stock up on supplies and prepare the finest weapons for war!
As far as Cyclops go Torbi is a bit unusual, I mean just look at how small she is! Though it'd be ill advised to bring that up as she can be a bit on the sensitive side. Never the less Torbi has the heart of a true blacksmith, you could even say she has an EYE for it. Working with hot molten metal as if it was clay is an easy task for her heat resistant skin and with a focused gaze from her eye she can even heat iron just by looking at it. What really makes Torbi an asset to the guild isn't her skill at making great weapons, but her ability to look past the surface and see peoples true nature. Maybe with a bit of charm and enough help she might even forge something unique and spectacular for the Apprentice!
> .....
"... What are you looking at?"
>Oh, sorry! I've never seen a Cyclops before.
>You tell me shorty.
The small cyclops doesn't say anything, but with the fiery look in her eye and that furrowed brow you wouldn't be surprised if she went straight for your knees with that hammer! Suddenly as you start to sweat you wonder if maybe you've trained a little to hard today, that is until the cloth at your waist suddenly catches fire!
>"F-Fire!"
You suddenly drop to the ground and begin to roll in the dirt. This was just like that time during your Fire Prevention apprenticeship!
"Now who's the short one?" The small girl asks as she looks down on you, a smile across her lips.
Thorbi was specifically designed for dinmoney 's contest for his game Faulty Apprentice which just recently got greenlit for STEAM! If you want to help spread the word or enter into the contest yourself then feel free to give it a whirl here:

Not many can make cyclops' unique eye look good/cute/seductive. Kudos!

Ta, though i mean of everyone else's entries (my own bias prevents me from looking at my own entries objectively); it's something different.
However, given the nature of the game I'm surprised ye made her more cute than pandering.

I wouldn't have thought a cyclops could be so cute. I have been corrected, nice job!

I questioned whether or not I could make a cyclops look cute as well, but apparently she's popular sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I feel like you are really GETTING Faulty Apprentice! Fun fantasy is what we are looking for, and this is right up that alley. That was a risk changing her to a blacksmith type merchant, but I like artists taking risks. Love that she is a tiny cyclops too! Great entry, thanks!!

I noticed in the demo that there really wasn't a blacksmith, so I thought I'd see if I could incorporate that aspect with a unique type of merchant. I want to make each merchant I design to be able to bring something different to the table. That said I'm glad your ok with the idea of a smithy type merchant!
