FINALLY! IT GOT SUBMITTED! ;_; OH JOY!!!
as you can see, this was drawn May 5th, which was quite while ago.
I drew this for Cycon because he was nice to me on the radio. lol ^^ or SOMETHING like that. >.< PLUS! I listened to one of his song named "Cycon got it going on" sooooooooooo. >.>
unfortunatly he left DA, but he is alive in sheezy.
now.....about this picture...it was done in.....surprisingly in PAINTER, but not entirely. I actually used Photoshop and Painter back and forth to do this, so this kinda took a while to finish. this was the my FIRST ATTEMPT to color a little bit differently. so......what do you think guys?
and don't ask which cord he is playing because I have no idea....0_o;;; D minor? no it can't be.......I just...drew his hand that way. @_@;;

Well since DA added the rule against using copyrighted music into flash without permission. This is what lead got banned from using copyrighted music without permission that got him banned that lead many of the flash artists to leave out of DA and heading down to SA.

The leg farther back on the left seems a bit awkward; it seems twisted in a strange direction. It also doesn't have the same level of shading or detail as the rest of it. While these characteristics do help push it back into the piece and allow other parts of the work to push forward, I think it could use just a bit more detail to balance the whole thing out. It would help also if that foot were sideways instead of straight toward the front like the other one.
Aside from that, I like your style here. The guitar is great; I think it makes the whole piece.

I don't think I've seen you use highlights and shading like this before.
Of maybe it's the fact that the character isn't outlined, makes him just pop off the page.

i'm not sure if you do this but what i do is draw a very simple sketch ((a stick person to start with if i'm planning)) with a color that's easy to see. then a more detailed one that shows where all the things are like the eye or the clothes ect. ect. then just slap on all the colors on top of it in different layers, i usually draw the first thing on top then go all the way to the bottom.
