Tonight I almost didn't go over to the college where the Torii gate is located. It'd rained and/or was overcast most of the day. And a new storm was gathering prior to sunset. Not knowing if the sun would even be peeking through the clouds I decided to go anyway. And was rewarded with a copper bay. Just when I thought the light show couldn't possibly get any better, the Universe ups the ante one more time!
So you get two instead of one shot.

It's also a favorite of mine. Partially because I didn't realize the sky and reflected sea could turn copper. It didn't just "fit" my preconceptions of sky colors. So it pushed some of my personal understanding.
