Really powerful work. The figure in the background is really terrifing. I imagine these two women live Β in their own numbed routines, unaware of their own prisons.

HOT DAMN! That's awesome! This perfectly puts the feeling of sedation into visual prospect...like, I've been on a painkiller and that is the visual conception of how I felt. Like, whoa!

I like it, it kind of reminds me of Van Gogh's potato eaters.

Cool. Reminds me of I Wanna Be Sedated by The Ramones.

I just feel for some reason like saying "Try to believe in the impossible, lest you look 'impossibly' despondant" after. The man in the middle reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock and this picture makes me think of the excess of 1920's ending with the start of the "Great depression" and this picture kind of meaning "the party's over",with the woman on the right being a "flapper" before and the one on the left being her decades after.

Is very hard to find a DD that is a simple, unique and emotive art. Everytime we only see artworks with a lot of details, usually digital art (today for example we have, including yours, 2 DDs that are traditional artworks). These arts are beautiful too, but we sometimes want to see the good n' old painting. So I have to say congratulations! Although this artwork have a sad (but real) scene, this day is probably a happy day to you

thanks...(:Β i dont really like digital art....its like alot of these things these days....to easy to do, lacking heart and courage and the will to do something from scratch...

I prefer traditional arts too. Especially because traditional artists haven't CTRL+Z

I couldn't agree more. Half of art is the aesthetics, and the other half is the emotion. A lot of art these days doesn't have that other half.Β Β

i agree..emotion ..poetic emotion is bieng lost amid technology..which promises much....but nothing for the soul

thanks....it seems people are not looking at there own lives and the lives of those around them to make art...there chasing the 'dream of what art is......from books and the net....the simple things are right in front of your face...

I think that the appearance is improtant, but the emotion too. Because every art wants to show something to us

It's so disappointing when there's nothing beyond the surface. And even more disappointing when the pieces without any emotion are the popular ones.
