The full version:

Life sucks, you almost marry an asshole, you leave said asshole because he's a lying asshole, and then you come back and marry the asshole.

Yes, but the asshole is (could be) Micheal Fassbender.

Nuff said.

A PRETTY FREAKING RICH AND SEXY ASSHOLE. ;D
And I don't think he's an ass.
He's just passionate.

...then you leave the a**hole, stay with another jerk and go back to the original one. I worry sometimes about Jane's taste in men.

Very funny!

That really pretty much sums it up, but that was her choice, "reader, I married him" not "reader, he married me." She should have gone to india

look, I see you don't like the book, but I liked it very much and can still find this pretty funny

I guess if that's what Jane wants and that's how she's happy, then that's it...

Yeah.. this pretty much sums it up. I'm reading Jane Eyre for school right now.. and I actually kinda like it, but I CAN see this theme(life sucks.. Jane's fated to marry a jerk, ect.) showing through.

i think it's crazy how of all the things i've drawn on here this 6 1/2 year old piece still gets all these comments.

that's the thing about literature... every year they force it on someone new. glad you got something out of it.

glimmerfish In reply to tupneypopet [2010-03-03 09:40:16 +0000 UTC]

why couldn't she have been one of those upbeat swingin' boarding school kids?

more dance numbers-- less... Jane Eyre.

As an English MA student, I feel the need to say that a) Jane Eyre is one of the greatest novels to come out of Victorian England, and b) Bronte was a genious.

Having said that, this is absolutely hilarious and totally brilliant.

As a Women's Studies major, I feel the need to say that a) Anne was hotter, and b) thank you very much.
