Hi, I come from Project Comment! First of all, I want to make clear that I'm not an expert. Now, I love the colors and the little scarf makes it pop. And the round stars on their cheeks makes them look even cuter and friendlier, it's a very good use of shape language and gives the drawing a theme and cohesion. The round face and closed also look adorable on this little pupper. I think how the soft, pastel colors blend together and the lavender color gives them depth. I think that the little shadow on their muzzle would look even better if you drew it just around their nose. There is a shadow on the ears and tails, but it is so subtle that's very difficult to see if you don't zoom in. If an object is a bit further from the puppy, it will make a soft, a bit blurry shadow and you usually will still see it. Yes, I love the colors you chose and how cohesive the palette it is but I almost didn't see your drawing on the thumbnail and I don't want to miss out on this adorable drawing, so I would recommend drawing a shape behind the dog (just a regular triangle or square) in a contrasting but not saturated colour like the red of their scarf. Great job ^^!!

Hello and merry CRITmas! Are you ready to be visited by a little Critique Fairy?

I must say this is a very wholesome and cute apparition for me today: downy like a cloud, so adorable! I don't even mind that he's looking sour for whatever reason. Maybe somebody just woke him up?

It's also nice to see something so obviously frosty - 't is the season, and I like that you added the little white specks to sell the snowy glitter. The stars are just a beautiful idea.

If I had to pick a nit, though, I'd say I'm slightly bothered by his facial features being so transparent? I have the feeling they shouldn't be, even though the rest of him feels ephemeral like a breath of winter air. I suppose he can also be a liiitle bit darker, in places (would be a shame to see that lightness go away entirely) because he's a bit hard to make out, at first glance. Then again, my monitor is set rather light, so YMMV.

All in all, a real treat of a picture and I want to thank you for sharing. Have a jolly good New Year with plenty of inspiration and time to induldge in your art!

He looks really cute and I like the style. One thing that I'd improve is make lines a little more prominent. I can see that you were going for subtle lines, but some dark accents on his hair tuft and places where his face is close to his paws would make his shape more distinct and the details better noticeable. It also seems like there's a shadow falling on his ears and tail, however, since there's no background and we don't see the object that is dropping the shadow, it's a bit distractive. If it's just his markings nevermind me. It's just really looks like a shadow to me.
Anyway, great work! You already have a cool style, keep improving!
