Another commission for featuring his OTP: Tails x Nicole.
After the previous commission , Wankers-Cramp wanted to show a little more romance between these two. So I suggested a few ideas to him and this is the one we settled on. It's been a while since I used lighting effects predominantly to set the mood, but I think they lend a magical quality to Nicole reaching through the computer screen to be with Tails.

If you're referring to Joker/EVE, she got a body. Nicole is a hologram, not the same thing. Now I haven't read Sonic comics in awhile so I might be out of date, but if Nicole got herself a cybernetic body to download herself into, then I'd be ok with it. But the last time I saw her, she was still a hologram.

She used to have a solid body in the pre-reboot just like EDI did.
The post-reboot have some inconsistencies, they mention it's a hologram, though she's able to hold objects and interact with solid things when in "personal form", so we don't really know how that works.

Why do people ship these two? Not saying I hate this ship, I'm just curious. My only guess is since a lot of fans (me included) like to think "Nicole is to Sally as Tails is to Sonic", and since a lot of people ship Sonic and Sally, why not ship Tails and Nicole. Great picture btw.

Well, you could just as easily ship TailsxCream and ShardxNicole, but I think a lot of people like this pairing because Tails and Nicole are both technically-minded.

I don't ship this couple but I can say that this picture is BEAUTIFUL. 
I love the expressions and the romantic setting of the picture, as well as the very digital vibes we've got with the surrounding holograms and background. You truly amaze me with your incredible skills glitcher. Good job as always!

Love the lighting here, and the setup is amazing to look at, but why does Tails look so tired? Seems like he has bags under his eyes.

If you want a half squint why not just hae a very slight lower eye lid showing?
It did make him look more tired with the raised part of his cheek over his eye and was actually quite effective at showing that, an artistic "happy accident" as TV artist Bob Ross used to say, if it wasn't intentional. Perhaps make a picture where charaters are relaxing and looking tired after a days adventures using that technique you found, see if works on other characters from the series just as well.

I think it's the effect of the way his muzzle fur lays under his eye. I don't think it detracts from the picture, helps to enforce a sort of surreal effect for the picture.

Personally, I don't ship them, but given the Archie canon I can DEFINITELY get behind them having a sibling sort of relationship.
I can sorta see characters poking fun at the idea of who's the elder and who's the younger of the two in jest - "the little-big brother" or the "big-little sister".
