Description

[STH #195-196] Sonic and Amy travelled to Moebius to attack the Suppression Squad, only to be trapped there by them. Silver and Rob arrived later to help the Freedom Fighters defeat the powerful Super Scourge.

[SU #46-47] Rob and his wife Mari-An went AWOL recently, leaving Bow Sparrow and Thorn the Lop to take their place. Espio tracked their last movements towards Never Lake.

The return of the king! I know a lot of you have been waiting to see Rob o' the Hedge for some time, and here he is as eloquent as ever. So we all know the real reason he went missing from SU #46 onward was due to the lawsuit with Ken Penders. I could have elaborated upon his absence here; JanikaCheetah had a detailed theory about Rob having escaped to Little Planet. It sounds credible, but I didn't want to segue the story into a whole side-plot with Rob over what is ultimately a legal issue. It would just be a distraction. The bottom line is this: Rob was gone, and now he's back. Let that be the end of it.

Speaking of legal issues, here's a fun fact: Friar Buck was also created by Ken Penders, first appearing as a Robian in Knuckles #12. His return in Sonic Universe meant that Archie used Penders' character after all his other characters were removed from the comic. Do I smell another lawsuit incoming?
