Description A picture I did in about 4 hours, not a huge deal, but I finally managed to draw Raven right! She is my favourite super hero from the cartoon show 'Teen Titans', which I still watch from time to time. This picture was done with graphite pencils and some really cheap hairspray! I hope you like it, if not just let me know what I can improve on. Thanks

Overall, this picture has a very nice effect. There are two things I'd mention, though: the fact that Normal Raven has her cape open while Red Raven's cape is closed takes away balance from the whole. It makes Red Raven look a bit inactive. I'd have portrayed both capes as open.
Also, the black raven above looks somewhat static: the outline doesn't have much dynamism, and it just looks a bit too ... regular. I think it could have been done with a more energetic, exciting shape, and less picked-out details, like the dark energy raven that Raven uses in the show. Otherwise, I like it. The technique and vision are very nice, especially on Normal Raven's face. Keep it up!

Thank you for sharing your opinions! I really appreciate your critique. However, the way I intended red/demon raven was to have her so that she appear as though she is a part of Raven, but she's more inactive than normal Raven is, making it seem like red Raven doesn't control her life and that it's more of an option. It was also a bit of an example and practice for me for drawing capes open and closed Β Also, with the bird, it does have a few details that weren't captured very well with my camera (like its glowing red eyes), as with the smoke in the background, which actually has a tiny bit of blue on normal Raven's side, and a tiny bit of red on red Raven's side. But yes I completely agree with you, the bird could have been done in Raven's dark magic energy

I do apologise for the poor quality. If I had a scanner I would use that, but alas... Im stuck with a phone camera! XD haha!

Same here i loved it when i was little, and i re-discovered it last year. That was one of the best moments of my life, as well as a big problem for my family, as i was using up so much internet!! XD
