Description
Here's my take on a Martian Tripod from H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. I wanted something a little industrial and a fairly odd looking. The main part of the tripod was influenced by an engine block since I figured they would be combustion driven machines.Related content

These machines look partially robotic, partially industrial, and partially organic- and I really love that. Β Otherworldly is definitely a word one could use to describe these Martian creations, so I think you did a fantastic job at drawing a "War of the Worlds" scene in your own style.

Thanks. I'm a big WotW fan. I reread the book every October. I tried to capture my first impression about the fighting machines from when I young and read it for the first time.

A very original take on the fighting machine, but probably one of my favorites. I like the idea of them spewing smog out the back and being very mechanical-looking - it adds to the intimidation factor. The contrasting appendages are just...idk...cool in a very peculiar way
