This was a drawing I did for myself personally because I haven’t had time to draw for myself in around a month or so.
Yes it’s a geisha like design, but I adore the theme and since working a tattoo studio back in the day the oriental themed images still impress me and inspire me. I like putting my own twist on things.
I also wanted to express my recent feelings and of corse put a bit of myself into the design…
This design is of a geisha dashing through the woods, a bag of poison apples around her forearm,
It represents *to me* some of the issues I have been facing, running from certain truths or facts, a lot of poisonous things have been consumed within my days of late and trying to bring everything down around me.
I can just keep trudging on.
But im aware of the foes that fake as friends.
The shoes, corset, garter and tassel designs are personal touches too; I wanted to put a bit of myself into the design, my tastes and pleasures.
I enjoyed making this.
Further more I do hope this design isn’t too dull, naturally I wouldn’t think so but I’m getting tired of seeing my head bones, flesh tunnels and faces spreading around the place in others art. I do notice these things you know.

All of your work is stunning! but there are alot of other people who do this kind of pop-surreal-fetish inspired art, like felineinfektious for example, so I don't know how you can judge whether people are copying.

Wow! This design isn't dull in the least! I love the color scheme you chose and the details are nothing shy of breathtaking. I love the blue skull apples, the sickening length of her nails, and her tassels. Are those keys dangling from her hair? The areolas are a nice touch.

wha kinda omaterials do u use, i have water color pencils myself but i cant seem to get the same blending as ur pictures, im wondering if u could help me on that.

I love the japanese influence for this, I can see you are adding many japanese details lately. looks really good
you chose the colors well, I think they all work out pretty fine.
I also enjoy the meaning very much. when a drawing has no symbolism behind it, I feel it's kinda boring...
it does look like she's running or hiding from something, but keeps with her the poisoned apples. very interesting

the colours are magnificent. i see the japanese influence in the vivid reds & blues. in fact the fetish shoes actuall remind me of the wooden clogs geishas wear, some of which can reach fairly ridiculous heights. heh

This is perhaps my favorite of all the favorites I have of yours and I'm very blown away by the Geisha design, especially since that I've always loved the Japanese culture...the best part, to me anyways, was the Geisha and all she stood for...

I should also mention that no matter how much of the elements of your artwork other people try to incorporate into their own, it will always lack something compared to yours. They add flesh tunnels and similar faces and all the rest because you are popular, and so they think it will make them cool. Their work lacks the emotion and power behind it that yours holds.

I love the leaf detail at the top, great work. Sometimes you just have to do something "self-indulgent" (In my opinion, that's the best kind of art).

Not dull at all.
In fact, it's a nice contrast to your usual very complicated "graphic-stand alone" style. I think your characters also work well without the bits and bobs. Maybe you can do two versions? One like this and one with the decorations? it would be very cool to see more in the geisha theme-- cherry blossoms and apple blossoms.
Your anatomy on the legs in this one is really good. You manage to stylize stuff while maintaining a believeable character with a sense of proportion. Kudos!

That is really, truly, beautiful and amazing. I love the shoes and the keys hanging from her headdress. Your work is so beautifully detailed. The poison apples remind me of in Disney's Snow White when the evil queen poisons the apple and for a moment there is a skull on it. As a child, that was my favorite part of the whole movie.
