Wow these look really amazing by just bringing over certain moods by the use of colors!
I wonder, because i'm currently studying concept art like these (just by looking though, not in a university or anything) what kind of brushes you used for these? Did you use any kind of special brushes? Because some of them seem to have been using rather round ones, while others seem more edgy somehow. And did you use texturebrushes or any special brush settings?

for my really quick speedpainty sketches, I do use a lot of textured brushes
most of the custom brushes i use can be found on dA (i'm not cool enough to make my own yet other than this one lineart brush - - but if i do, i'll be sure to share them!) i dug up a couple that i couldn't live without here:

I love the bloom in these. It makes everything feel soft. I'm finding myself wondering what's up in the second one. A cavern with power lines being draped through it...?
