Okay, another comment, but where exactly are you getting these ideas from? I remember you saying a series you watched that weirded your friends out a bit along these lines. Is it worth a watch?

It was Malice Doll that I have tossed a few journal entries for, not a series but a rather shortish movie. And I definitely would say it's worth watching, "post-apocalyptic surreal cyberpunk. with tits in it." Might take a few watch-throughs, though.
Basically it's a story about a ye-olde brothel with the synthetic whores still running long after every last client is dead, while it's a rather philosophical piece without ignoring the tentacle porn -department. The kinda movie that pretty much could only oritinate in Japan, or France. Except that the French are assholes.
Well, so are the Japanese, but they have some sweet sci-fi to offer now and then.
