Erain Whitlock ( エリンホイットロック Erain Hoittorokku) is a Mage of Fairy Tail who is known for as an experienced hunter of beasts.

Appearance

Erain has short, white hair and pale green eyes. She has a mole under her right eye and a scar across her mouth. She wears a sleeveless shirt with a bandana wrapped around her arm. Her other arm has a scar across it. She wears pants with a scaf wrapped around it and she is barefoot. Her Guild mark is on her heel of her right foot.

Personality

Erain is Intelligent, Cunning, Serious, and sometimes Short-tempered. Most of the time she stays with Elfman to stay calm, but otherwise she can lose her temper quite fast. Erain can get drunk quite easily, so she doesn't drink beer all that often, and it can sometimes mess up her hunting skill. She finds the winters in Fiore just slitely chilly from her times growing up in Iceberg.
Her hunting skills are helped by her cunning and intelligent nature.

History

Erain was born and raised in an orphanage in Nokku, Iceberg until the age of 10. She didn't know who her parents are, and one day she set off on her own, running away from the orphanage.
She went to Fiore and collapsed on the side of the road in Magnolia. A boy about her age took her to his home to see if he could help her. When Erain woke up she saw the three Strauss sibilings, and they were all around her age. She told them her story and she decided to stay with them, like a new foster home.

Synopsis

Phantom Lord Arc

Erain is seen helping fight against Jose's shades, but uses a grapple arrow to the giant to help Elfman after his fight with Sol.

Erain is hunting for Loke around Magnolia.

Fighting Festival Arc

Erain is frozen in stone as a contestant of the Miss Fairy Tail contest, and later is crying as she sees Elfman tortured by Freed, unable to move.
