Ah you know I love Death and you know I always fav. him! And no I'm not just fav-ing this because your journal and your side note at the bottom. There's something a little different about this one than your other later pieces. I think it's because you used just enough line art but it isn't obvious. And the blends that you did do (especially with the hair) give it the far-away look that I think works really really well with this picture and what it's trying to portray. You did an amazing job with the smoke and I like the skull in it by the way. And the shadows in his eyes and the brightness of the red in on his scythe (only color) is perfect. THIS IS AWESOME GLOOMY! and you know I just love Death

I like that the lights that death has passed has gone out...really nice touch there. Also the lighting looks sweet. I think more lighting on the hair though, maybe just defining a few individual strands, would do a lot. Good work.

what kind off program do you use to do the coloring? do you use a wacom tablet?

I used Photoshop Elements 4.0 (but I would recommend something along the normal Photoshop line and not Elements here; there are a few features that it doesn't have), and yes, I use and Wacom Inedos (spelling?) tablet
