This is Chantal and her mate, Barclay: Brooklyn’s biological parents.So, I know that a gargoyle child belongs to the whole clan, raised by everyone and do not treat an individual differently from another child but in my own personal opinion that can really be done. Ok, I know that it’s “The Gargoyle Way” but I mean really, it’s your baby! That in it’s self with already form a strong bond.
You will love all the children, but we all know you’ll always love yours more. I think that the child and it’s parents will have that special parental just between them and spend just a bit more time together. And I also think that, even as a new born hatchling, they’ll know right away who their real parents from. Either from smell or the sound of mother’s voice or feeling, they’ll know.
In sad, they’ll reach out from their mother for comfort more often than another female or when scared they’ll go looking for their father instead of someone closer. With is what inspired this family moment! Chantal is holding her baby boy and Barclay comes over. Baby Brooklyn instantly smiles and reaches out for him. Both Chantal and Barclay share a warm smile because they both know that this hatchling knows he’s their son.

I wonder if it's possible that Sacrifice (the pink web winged female garg in the comics is related to Lex).. though she would be 20 years biologically older than him.. so a cousin maybe?

I'm simply not a fan of beaked male/humanoid female pairings (and I dislike humanoid female OCs in general).
Or his big sister, lol... but some people had the same thought, it could be true, but as you said, "maybe, maybe not.."

I hope we get to see Hyppolyta and Hudson's mate if we get to the Dark ages comic.

Every character in it is perfect(especially the female) and they really have the look of the perfect family!
Still I must say the gargoyle way of seeing hatchlings as children of the clan is much more interesting. It makes the gargoyles different from humans and underlines their status as a separate race with a very different background.

You're thinking like a human. It's the gargoyle way, not our way. Gargoyles lead very dangerous lives and, this way, a gargoyle hatchling will always be loved equally by the entire clan just in case something happens to their parents. Broadway is Hudson's son, but you don't see them forming any special bonds. Gargoyles have many mothers and fathers and they wouldn't have it any other way. It's just the way they are.
All that aside, I'm impressed that you gave his mother Brooklyn's colors and his father, Brooklyn's body type. Not a lot of fans do that. Kudos to you!

I agree on this. Even if gargoyles did think like humans, there's that 10 year egg gestation period, so no one actually sees their child at birth to get the imprinting we humans get.(which is why some mothers who are giving their baby up for adoption insist on not seeing it, to avoid the instinctual imprinting)
So, when the eggs hatch, you can't really be certain which one goes with which pair, as everyone is somewhat closely related in a clan, and features can hearken back to grandparents and aunts and uncles, not just the parents. One baby may gravitate more to some adults than others, but that's no guarantee that those are the biological parents.

Except they disaproved nothing. Ophelia is still just as much his daughter as Angela. Nothing changed, he just started behaving like a father to Angela instead of pushing her away because he was afraid of her being curious about Demona...
He'd embrace Gabriel as his son too. You misinterpreted all that.
