Description I'm experimenting with Prismacolor, and this is what I've got so far. It's taken much longer than it should've, but I like the way it's turning out.

Wow! Such realism yet it has a dreamlike quality to it at the same time..
Prisma colours are wonderful tools, I wish I had enough money to buy some more!

That aint sad at all, it shows dedication hehe
Id love to see the finished version sometime. It deserves it, yet it has a wonderful charm about it being unfinished, if you know what I mean.

I know! They're so expensive! I have seven now (isn't it sad?), and hope to buy a set of 24 fairly soon.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! If only I had more time to actually finish it...

The ancient, Ent-ish was the sort of look I was going for. I was looking for a picture of a knarled, twisted trunk, and stumbled on a picture of this tree. It was taken in the daytime, and I'm hoping when it's done I'll be able to make it look like it's in the middle of the forest in the moonlight. Thanks for the comment!

Ooo, I like this sketch, Gloredhel. All gnarly and knotted, and the shadowing is exquisite--methinks I detect an Ent-like influence here?
