A rotring pen is pure awsomeness, although it's quite expensive. Google it if you're curious, and give it a try if you're given the possibility

I very much like your Hermione, even though I thought, at first, it was Lily (it's all this SS/LE art floating around at the moment). Either way, I love seeing a very in-character Snape with a serious-looking woman in one room. One gets that so rarely what with all the Snape-related princess art out there.

Ah ha!! Found it. I figued it was DeviantArt so I was already searching when you sent the second email. Love the details you've put into the background and how the two of them are just staring at each, frozen in the scene in an eternal impasse.
