He entered Carson's story after a while and the whole mutant world wasn't that important for him. I can't exactly remember how he came to be, but I just remember I doodled this guy with knives, said "Mmm, he could be an antagonist for Carson" and then "Better! He's his brother!"

But yeah, he came a long way too

Backstory:
Second-born of Carson's dad, when the first boy was just three years old, it was soon noticed how Ken had a hidden mutation that resonated with Carson's, endangering the latter. He was raised away from his brother for some years while they tried to discover how to stop that resonance but he was kidnapped (or he escaped?) and was never found.
Trained as an assassin and thief, he did have a harsh youth, until he learned how to get by by himself. Living and working with a small crew made of a hacker, another hitman and a thief, he made quite a name for himself.
One of his last "commissions" was to get rid of a certain hero's son, though that didn't go as well as he expected. Knocked out by Carson, he was slowly reacquainted with his family and society. It took a while but he eventually welcomed a calmer life.Still, he still gets hired for various not legal jobs. Carson isn't really okay with that, but at the same time he can't control Kenneth. He even tried some normal jobs, but he is used to a thrill and kind of action that he can't get through those. He sometimes gets contracts as bounty hunter, those are not too bad. But since Carson's research creates enough of an income, he can spend a lot of time at home.

Rough description of character:
_ Quite sociable but can't really have normal conversations ("That one time I killed-")
_ Sarcastic, a little bit of an asshole sometimes.
_ Good pokerface.
_ Doesn't usually smile genuinely, mostly with his brother and close friends. Otherwise he has more of a grin.

Fun facts and other info:

_ Don't talk about his height or you'll find a blade up your chest.
_ Says his height was due to malnourishment during his youth. That's actually true.
_ Has some anger issues but he got definitely better with his brother's help.
_ The stealthiest
_ Most of his shoes have small platforms, he says it's for stealth, but it's actually to make him taller.
_ Has tattoos, the most important are a tribal flame on the bottom left of his waist and a scythe with names on his back.
_ Despite his regenerative abilities, deep wounds leave scars. The most noticeable are those on his chin and the worst are those on his calves. He refuses to talk about these.
_ Has a huge collection of knives, blades, daggers... But his tools of the trade will always be the two red combat knives.
_ When not at home, he will mostly wear black.
_ When outside, he will automatically go into stealth mode, not even noticing it. It's difficult to hear him approaching.
_ His hair is actually black but he periodically dies it blue.

_His mutation is a mystery. The resonance he had with Carson seems to have disappeared. While he has lesser regenerative abilities and is a little stronger and more durable than a normal human, he's nowhere close to Carson. He has an amazing agility though.
_ When under a lot of stress or strong emotions, his left eye will flare with red too.
_ Great with most types of short blades, great sniper and has good proficiency with firearms. Hand-to-hand combat is on point too.
_ He's ambidextrous and actually incredibly smart when it comes to getting out of trouble.
