Description
Linked to this oneI'm doing worldbuilding with this transformation |D Don't mind my silly ideas
Here are the base "modes" for Aoi's Codix wings.
Codix wings are sort of mechanical? Like an hologram machine-thing? Idk how to define it, anyway!
Codix wings are basically like a device to the user, and they consume their energy when used. It's not much, much less than a spell for example, but they still have a toll on the transformation duration.
The user has to actively think of changing between modes, although after a while it becomes istinctive.
Deactivated mode is when the user doesn't need to use the wings, ofc. Although they are material, they are still made of magic. The bits can move freely but mostly they will rest on the user's back, also acting as some sort of armor.
Rest mode is like when you put your phone on stop. They are ready to be used at any moment, but they also consume a little bit of energy. It's just the intermediate mode between deactivated and normal mode.
Normal mode is for simple flight, it's fast, but not the max speed the user can reach. When activated like this, wings can offer a support to the user to increase the spell power of a level (around +20%). If the user has enough experience, they can actually move the wings around as shield/deflector.
Other wings modes can be achieved through experience and use of Codix!
//I'm so turning this into an RPG-like transformation XDΒ
