been recently getting back into TFA. The drive to draw for this series kind of just comes and goes, but i love it nonetheless. Gah prowl! <3anyway... trying to get in the drawing mood again. i have a whole bunch of drawings i need to finish. especially requests. which i always seem to have a hard time with... probably because i have to please the person asking for it rather than just please myself with my drawing abilities. i take a lot more time with requests DX
anyway enjoy.

His legs look too short. He can cover the whole length of his thigh with his hand.

She drew him in a mini, or 'chibi' style. And in that style things tend to be dramatically smaller.

I don't think it's supposed to be a chibi since chibis are about three head heights tall. Prowl's proportions aren't right for TFA but they are much closer to that than to a chibi.

That's why I said it's sort of like that style. I'm just saying she drew him in a mini style. So of course the style and proportions will not match that of TFA. She did that on purpose.

It doesn't seem very purposeful to me since it's too close to TFA to be a different style but clearly not correct for TFA. I guess we'll have to wait to hear from her to know for sure

it's purposefully like that. it's supposed to be "cute". you can look at my other pictures of him and you'll see that i can draw him correctly.

In that case, I'd suggest exaggerating him further in future. Right now, it's not quite different enough to read as a stylistic decision. I'm not saying you need to go all out *MattMoylan chibiformer but something that was more obviously intentional about its proportion choices would be nice.

She drew it how she wanted to, in her style. If she wanted it to be stylistic she certainly could've done that on her own. She knows what she's doing.

If someone offering an opinion and suggestion to another artist is offensive to you, then I'd suggest getting off an art site that numerous groups dedicated to critiques.

I don't find it offensive. I find it annoying that she already TOLD you what she was trying to do and you're shoving all this crap at her. Telling her what she needs to do differently. Trust me, if she wanted your advice she would've asked for it.

I find it amusing that you are more bothered by this than her. Either you think she is too emotionally frail to handle discussing her artistic choices (which is sad since it means you don't believe in her as an artist) or you have such issues with criticism that you can't stand knowing it exists.
Regardless, you might be happier on another website. Namely one that doesn't encourage artists find and talk to each other about their work.
