High Noon trotted along the docs, his eyes canning the peer and the ponies galloping past him. His armor glistened in fading sunlight, this was nice. As he began to reach the end of the docs he saw a familiar silhouette coming towards him.

“Who the hell do you think you are telling Lucifer that he could beat me if he so pleased!?” Excalibur exclaimed, a sour and bitter look on his face.

High Noon looked down and stepped forward ever so slowly, so that the two were almost chest to chest.

“I've had to listen to your bullshit for years, I can only imagine how much worse it is for lucifer.” High noon looked up and out to the peer, laying his ears back with a calm restraint.

“I told him that if he didn’t want to fight you I would.” Excalibur stepped back a bit, giving more space between the two of them.

Excalibur puffed out his chest and stared deep into High Noon’s eyes. The title his head up gently and he spoke in a soft demanding tone.

“I’d be damned if I let the child of Rarity and Twilight best ME at anything. Not that he's very good at much anyway.” a shit eating grin crept on Excalibur’s face and his tail rose.

High Noon let out a soft chuckle making whatever small ounce of convince Excalibur had fizzle away.

“You don’t deserve shit. Fed on a silver platter? Your parents do everything for you, it's crazy. The only achievements you have ever gotten have been because your parents helped you every step of the way.”

“Excuse me?!” Excalibur leaned in even closer bearing his teeth.”

“I have worked hard! Hard to get where I wish to be. And if that thing gets in the way I will move him.” Excalibur’s fur was rising on his body.

High Noon rolled his eyes as he looked down at the smaller stallion, what a waste of potential.

“I'll say this to you once, i’ll get what is mine.” Excalibur hissed, aggressive turing to walk away, looking over his shoulder once before trotting off.
