Sweeps certainly went too far this time, judging by looking at how bad Megatron looks. It would have made more sense if it was Galvatron doing the killing. He's insane enough to do such a Carnage (in C Minor).

decapitated scourge heads... megatron sure knows how to accessorize. lol (i keep thinking the one dangling over his shoulder is a purse. ha!)

The way he looks holding all of those Scourge heads hee looks like he's saying "Don't be so angry... I brought gifts!"
...or this could be just the base layer to that throne of severed heads he had imagined back during "Chaos Theory"

It's the Sweeps. The last we saw Megatron in IDW he was fighting a gestalt form of tons of Sweeps and Decepticons joined together.

I must say, I feel sorry for Bumblebee, Starscream, Metalhawk, & Co.
Your work just keeps getting better. I especially like his right hand -- it just feels real, like you really would hold a slew of Sweeps' heads just like that...
